Standard procedure for ISAC analtyical services

Blood taking

For a complete ISAC analysis, only minute amounts of serum are required. Typically, blood is taken by a medical practitioner or a diagnostic laboratory and serum is being produced by standard procedures. For ISAC, any standard method of serum preparation is compatible. Most importantly, the test can be performed with serum from capillary blood taken from the heel or the finger tip for the diagnosis of infants.

Serum delivery

Prior to sending serum samples carefully fill in the corresponding requisition form. Please, use capital letters when providing your name and personal details. Samples will only be analyzed when a complete requisition form has been submitted!

When shipping serum it is essential that only certified sample containers are being used! Should you have doubts about the suitability of your sample container and packing, please contact our customer care centre for advice! When using certified containers, serum samples can simply be sent via mail. IgE antibodies are stable for at least a week at room temperature. Therefore, it is not necessary to ship the samples on ice!

Medical result delivery

After completion of the ISAC analysis, a medical report is generated and sent to the contracting medical practitioner. Only when declared in writing we are forwarding ISAC results directly to the patient. Result delivery in electronic form via e-mail is possible upon request by telephone.

Payment terms & conditions

Invoices are sent to the contracting physician or directly to the patient. The procedure of choice must be indicated on requisition form. We accept VISA and MasterCard for payment.
